Volq) Life's too short to not smell the Roses, Life's too short to not take a drive into the country, whether short or long, Life's too short to not listen to a bird's song, Life's too short to not slow down. Life's too short to not lie down in a green pasture, Life's too short to not pick out shapes in the clouds as they float lazily by, Life's too short to not be caught by a bonnie young lassie's eye, Life's too short to not slow down. Life's too short to not revel in the laughter of children, Life's too short to not admire life's scenery, Life's too short to not watch a Sunset when you're feelin' lonely, Life's too short to not slow down. Life's too short to not listen to live music, Life's too short to not learn to play a kazoo, Life's too short to not dance a jig when the spirit moves you, Life's too short to not slow down. Life's too short to not keep time with your feet, Life's too short to not tap your toes, Life's too short to not snap your fingers to that "snappy beat," Life's too short to not slow down. Life's too short to not climb that Mountain, Life's too short to not visit the Sea, Life's too short to not find out "How green is that Valley," Life's too short to not slow down. Life's too short to not share a smile with others, Life's too short to not spend it with a good friend, Life's too short to not do something simple, Life's too short to not slow down. Life's too short to not be inspired to write a poem, Life's too short to not do your best, Life's too short to not try, Life's too short to not slow down. Life's too short to not have a hero, Life's too short to not be a Coach, Life's too short to not be a comic strip creator, Life's just too dang short to not slow down. Life's too short to not realize that this poem can only ever be half complete, Life's too short to not see the stars as they ought to be seen, Life's too short to not put an end to this poem, Life's too short to not.... Life's too short to not say "Hey, Dad, I love you" in spite of our disappointments Life's too short to not realize that Family does not come second because "Family" is included in "Life's too short to not realize that 'do unto others as you would have happen unto you' comes first" Life's too short to not realize that you need to slow down Life's too short to not learn something new, Life's too short to not meet a gnu, Life's too short to not say "Howdy do" to your neighbors, Life's too short to not slow down. Life's too short to not make a difference, Life's too short to not speak now or forever hold your peace, Life's too short to not give a care, Life's too short to not slow down. Life's too short to not "look at the bright side," of things.... Life's too short to not embrace ones Passions ... especially by sharing them with others. UpDated August 2003 |
